The official site of the new animated adaptation of the manga Cat's Eyework of Tsukasa Hojo (City Hunter), shared his main trailerwhere the two musical themes performed by the singer are revealed Ado.
The artist will be responsible for both the ending with “CAT'S EYE” (a cover of the opening of the original 1983-1984 anime, performed at the time by Anri), as well as the opening titled “Magic”a brand new song written by Tsumiki with a retro pop style.

The anime will premiere in Disney Plus under its Star brand, releasing the episodes 1 to 6 on September 26, 2025while the episodes 7 to 12 will arrive from December 26releasing one per week.

Production, staff and about the original work
The direction is in charge of Yoshifumi Sueda in the studio LIDEN FILMS. Hayashi Mori oversees the composition of the series, while Yosuke Yabumoto designs the characters and acts as chief animation director. The music will be composed by Yuki Hayashi.

Brief synopsis
The story follows a mysterious trio of thieves known as Cat's Eyewhich exclusively steals works from European painter Michael Heinz. Meanwhile, the detective Toshio Utsumi He tries to catch them without success, facing criticism and the threat of losing his position. What he doesn't know is that his own girlfriend, Hitomi Kisugialong with her sisters, is the one who hides behind the identity of these enigmatic thieves.
