The official website for the animated adaptation of the light novel series My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! (Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai) of Ghost Mikawa shared this Monday a new main visualits promotional trailer and release date: October 4.
The video not only features previously unseen scenes, but also reveals the musical themes. The opening is titled “Uza Kawaikute Nani ga Warui!” performed by Karubi Akamiwhile the ending “Hoshi no Kodō” will be in charge of Kohana Lam.
The anime will premiere on October 4 at 6:30 p.m. (Spain) within the NUMAnimation block of TV Asahi and 23 other affiliate networks. Later it will come to BS11 on October 5 already AT-X on October 6.
Story synopsis
The plot follows Akiteru Ōboshia student who always ends up being despised by girls, without achieving a single romance. His top priority is securing a future for his video game development group at his uncle's company. However, everything changes when his uncle forces him to pretend to be his daughter's boyfriend. From then on, he must face the ridicule and jealousy of Iroha Kohinatahis best friend's sister, who never stops bothering him at all times.

The direction is in charge of Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist), while Toko Machida (Lucky Star, Wake Up, Girls!) supervises and writes the scripts. The character design falls on Katsuyuki Sato (My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex).
About the original work
The first novel, illustrated by tomaridebuted in April 2019. Currently it has 11 volumes published by SB Creative, the most recent released on March 15. Besides, Hira Hiraoka publishes a manga adaptation on the app Manga UP! from Square Enix, whose tenth compilation volume will go on sale on October 7.
