Call of the Night season 2 reveals Halloween arc trailer and visual


the anime Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta)based on the manga Kotoyamapresented a new promotional trailer and a visual for him Halloween Night bowwhich will begin in episode 9 of the second season on August 29, 2025.

The second season began on July 4, 2025 inside the block Noitamina in FujiTV and other affiliated networks in Japan. Episodes air on Fridays at 4:30 p.m. in Spain. Internationally, the series airs on HIDIVE simultaneously.

New characters and cast

The arc will add new characters with well-known voices:

  • Rina Sato as Kiku Hoshimi, a seductive woman with whom Kō's friend Mahiru falls in love.
  • Maaya Uchida as Haru Nanakusa, a nurse with a strong resemblance to Nazuna.
  • Tomokazu Sugita like LG, a follower of Midori Kohakobe.

Music by Creepy Nuts

The duo Creepy Nuts interprets both opening from the second season, titled “Mirage”like the ending, “Nemure” (“Sleep”). As in the first season, the band is responsible for both main themes. It should be remembered that the manga takes its name from the song “Yofukashi no Uta”also from Creepy Nuts.

Production team

The first season was directed by Tomoyuki Itamura (Monogatari Series) under the production of LIDEN FILMSwith Tetsuya Miyanishi (Josee, The Tiger and the Fish) as chief director. The scripts were in charge of Michiko Yokote (Cowboy Bebop, Prison School), and the character design was the work of Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days).

A little about the manga

the manga Call of the Night started in Weekly Shonen Sunday in August 2019 and concluded in January 2024, bringing together a total of 20 volumes published by Shogakukan. In Spain and Latin America, the work is available under license from Viz Media. The story follows Ko Yamoria boy who meets the enigmatic vampire Nazuna Nanakusaand explores how their relationship changes after sharing nighttime adventures that will test the limits between humanity and immortality.
