The official anime channel of Netflix revealed a First Look from the second season of Devil May Cryconfirming that the long-awaited sequel will premiere in 2026.
Global success in its 1st season
The first installment, produced by Adi Shankar in collaboration with Studio Mirdebuted worldwide in April 2025 via Netflix. The season featured eight episodes and quickly reached number 4 on the Global Top 10 of the platform, accumulating more than 5.3 million views in its first three days and positioning itself in the Top 10 of 87 countries.
An expanding legacy
The franchise Devil May Cry born in 2001 on the console PlayStation 2created under the direction of Hideki Kamiyaalso responsible for titles such as Okami and Bayonetta. Its popularity led to a first animated adaptation produced by madhouse in 2007.
Dante returns with more action
In this new animated adaptation of Capcomwith the vision of Adi Shankarsinister forces conspire to open a portal between the human and demonic worlds. In the middle of the conflict is Dantean orphaned demon hunter who offers his services as a mercenary, without imagining that the fate of both worlds depends on him.
