Yano-kun's Ordinary Days anime reveals new cast and release date


The production team of the television anime based on the manga Yano-kun's Ordinary Days of Yui Tamura revealed this Wednesday the addition of new members to the cast, in addition to confirming that the series will premiere on September 30.

Among the confirmed actors are:

  • Satoshi Hino like Yano's father.
  • Takuya Eguchi like Professor Omiya, tutor of room 2-1.

Anime air date and time

The anime will debut in Nippon TV he September 30 at 1:35 am JST (equivalent to September 30 at 6:35 p.m. in Spain). New episodes will air weekly on Tuesdays at 1:29 am JST (Tuesday at 18:29 in Spain).

Furthermore, the September 13coinciding with Yano's birthday, a special live broadcast will take place where more news will be revealed.

Main cast

The main cast is headed by:

  • Kohei Amasaki as Tsuyoshi Yano
  • Yuka Nukui as Kiyoko Yoshida
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Mei, Kiyoko's best friend
  • Taito Ban as Hashiba, class representative alongside Kiyoko
  • Rie Takahashi as Izumi, Hashiba's childhood friend
  • Ryōta Iwasaki as Tanaka, Mei's childhood friend

Production team

The direction is in charge of Shinpei Matsuo in the studio Ajia-dowhile Deko Akao write the script. The character design is the responsibility of Toshihisa Kaiya and the music will be composed by Hideakira Kimura. In the sound section, Yayoi Tateishi serves as sound director, with Bit Grooove Promotion in audio production and Nippon TV Music in the musical.

The opening theme will be performed by the group FANTASTIC under the title “POP LIFE”.

A comedy marked by bad luck

The story follows Tsuyoshi Yanoa high school student who seems to attract bad luck at every turn. Your classmate, Kiyoko Yoshidacan't help but worry about him and decides to accompany him, witnessing his daily misadventures and swearing to support him at all times.

From manga to anime

Yui Tamura launched the manga on the portal Comic Days of Kodansha in June 2021, remaining in publication to date. The publisher published volume number 10 last March 12. The work also inspired a live-action movie which was released in Japanese cinemas in November 2024.
