Puniru (voice of Yu Sasahara) continues to expand its musical facet with a new cover within the anime side project Puniru is a Kawaii Slime. On this occasion, the charismatic slime travels to the past to perform in its own style “A Perfect Sky”the popular theme of BONNIE PINK launched in 2006.
A growing series of covers
The new music video joins other recent releases performed by Puniru, including “Hai Yorokonde” of Kocchi no Kento and “Melt”the iconic theme of Hatsune Miku composed of ryo (supercell). This series of adaptations seeks to give a fresh and fun touch to the project, showing the vocal versatility of the most kawaii slime in anime.
The second season in broadcast
After the premiere of its first season in autumn 2024, the second part of the anime Puniru is a Kawaii Slimebased on the romantic comedy manga by Maeda-kunbegan broadcasting in Japan on July 6, 2025. The series is broadcast internationally through Crunchyrollavailable for everyone except Japan and Korea.
Romantic comedy with an unexpected twist
The story follows Kotaroa young man who seven years ago created a slime that, to his surprise, came to life. Since then he has lived with Puniruwho has grown up and now presents herself as a happy, charming girl capable of transform into different kawaii shapes. However, his free spirit and constant occurrences make Kotaro's life full of unpredictable and fun situations.
