The publisher CLASS EARTH announced at the beginning of this year that his illustrated work Latair and the Earth Saver: What Endangered Species Teach Us would have an anime adaptation. Finally, it was confirmed that the short series, titled Latair the Earthwill be released on September 5 in NHK Educational TV in Japan.
Production details
The anime will have a total of five episodes. In addition, a trailer is now available on the project's official YouTube channel, where you can see the Earth fairy Latair next to Kanadethe “Earth Saver”, dancing to the rhythm of the series' main theme.
Voice cast
- Latair will be performed by Yukari Tamura (Priscilla Barielle in Re:ZERO).
- Kanade will feature the voice of Reo Tanie (Mamekichi Maizuka in A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!).
- Arabian Oryx (female) will be in charge of Kaori Nazuka (Nunnally in Code Geass).
- Arabian Oryx (male) will be interpreted by Satoshi Inomata (Shugo Hoshikawa in Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You.).
- Quetzal will have the voice of Hiroki Nanami (Joka in The Apothecary Diaries).
Creative team
The creator of Macross, Shoji Kawamoriwill participate as supervising producer of the series. For his part, the French illustrator Thomas Romain He will be in charge of designing the characters, based on the original illustrations from the illustrated book.
