The streaming service HBO Max will add 20 japanese movies to your library starting September 1within the framework of a new collaboration with the distributor GKIDS. Among the confirmed titles are The angel's egg (Angel's Egg), Shin Godzilla and your name.along with both animation and live-action productions that cover different eras and styles.

A catalog that continues to grow
The price of the monthly HBO Max subscription increased by June 2024going from $15.99 to $16.99 for the standard plan without ads, and from $19.99 to $20.99 for the premium modality without ads.
Launched in May 2020, HBO Max started with a price of $14.99 per month and brings together productions from brands such as Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, cnn, TNT, TBS, The CW, Turner Classic Movies and Looney Tunes. In addition, it offers the complete filmography of Studio Ghibli thanks to GKIDS.
In its beginnings, the service also had content from Crunchyroll, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Rooster Teeth, and although Sony acquired Crunchyroll in August 2021, some of its titles remain on the platform.
