Saori Hayami will perform the ending of Record of Ragnarok III


The production of Record of Ragnarok IIIthird installment of the popular anime based on the manga Shinya Umemura, Azychika and Takumi Fukuihas confirmed that Saori Hayami will perform the closing theme titled “Last breath, Last record”. Hayami herself has written the lyrics, inspired by the essence and vision of the world that the story presents.

The world premiere is scheduled for December 2025 through Netflixmarking a new chapter in the battle between gods and humans.

A reinforced cast for new fights

This season will incorporate Makoto Furukawa as Nikola Tesla, Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub, Hiroshi Shirokuma as King Leonidas and Kenichi Suzumura as Apollo.

In addition, it will have a renewed production equipmentwith Kōichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers) as director in Yumeta Company × Maru Animation, Yasuyuki Muto as main screenwriter and Yoko Tanabe next to Hisashi Kawashima as character designers. Yasuharu Takanashi returns to compose the soundtrack.

The seventh decisive battle

The plot will continue to explore the 13 one-on-one battles for the survival of humanity, facing deities and historical figures. In this installment the seventh fight will take place, decisive in breaking the 3-3 tie on the scoreboard. A confrontation full of intensity, blood and unbreakable convictions.

From its beginnings to the current phenomenon and beyond

The first season debuted in Netflix in June 2021, followed by Record of Ragnarok IIthe first part of which arrived in January 2023 and the second in July of the same year. The original manga began serialization in November 2017 in the magazine Comic Zenon and has several spin-offsas Shūmatsu no Walküre Kitan: Jack the Ripper no Jikenbo and Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden. In June 2024 it was launched Shūmatsu no Walküre Kinden: Kamigami no Apocalypseexpanding the universe even further.

The franchise has also expanded into the world of video games with the Mobile RPG Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgmentavailable from March 31, offering fans the opportunity to relive the most iconic fights in an interactive format.
