The second part of the anime Sakamoto Days introduces the long-awaited arc of the JCC transfer exams starting with episode 17, accompanied by an eye-catching trailer and a new promotional visual that elevate the action and excitement of this key phase.
Reinforcements in the distribution
Three additions to the Japanese cast were announced today:
- Hisako Kanemoto as Nao Toramaru
- Tomoaki Maeno as Joichiro Kaji
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Shinaya
These new characters promise to add tension and dynamism to the plot during this secret examination that confronts Sakamoto and Shin with new challenges.
High level production
Production remains in the hands of studio TMS Entertainmentwith Masaki Watanabe as director, Taku Kishimoto in the series composition, Yo Moriyama in charge of character design and Yuki Hayashi composing the soundtrack. The original manga is the work of Yuto Suzuki.
The exam that changes everything
In this arc – adapting chapters 55 to 72 of the manga – Sakamoto and Shin infiltrate the JCC posing as aspirants to discover the truth about the mysterious Slur organization. It is a decisive moment in the story, where the action takes center stage and the tone becomes more intense than in previous arcs.
