The official site of the upcoming anime The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jikenbo) has launched a teaser trailer which officially announces the series premiere for January 2026. This television adaptation will bring to the screen the gothic atmosphere and intrigue of the original video game, developed by Harumurasaki and published by Game Magazine.

A highly experienced production cast
The trailer showed the silhouettes of the main characters and revealed the creative team that will be behind the series:

Story where crime and the supernatural intersect
The game The Case Book of Arne was released in 2017 and has gained popularity for its fusion of detective mystery, vampires and gothic horror. The story follows Arne Neuntötea vampire who works as a detective, already Lynn Reinweißa young noblewoman fascinated by the creatures of the night.
Their paths cross unexpectedly when Lynn arrives in the hidden city of Luegenberga place inhabited by non-human beings. There, he meets Arne, nicknamed “the worst vampire in town”, just when a new and bloody crime occurs.
In a world where humanity and the strange coexistboth will join forces to unravel mysteries as dark as they are dangerous. “Come on, human. You can dance merrily under the crimson moon”, promises the disturbing trailer.
From video game to manga and now to anime
In addition to the game available in English through Steam, The Case Book of Arne has a manga adaptation illustrated by Soraho Inapublished by KADOKAWA since 2018 in the magazine Monthly Comic Geneaimed at the shōjo public.
With its premiere set for January 2026 (local time in Japan), this adaptation promises an addictive mix of mystery, gothic aesthetics and unusual characters that will attract both fans of the genre and new viewers.
