the anime Gachiakutabased on the manga Kei Uranahas revealed four new characters who join the ongoing story. The announcement was made this Tuesday through the series' official account. The actors and their respective characters are:
- Mie Sonozaki as Semiua mysterious “Cleaner”.
- Hisako Tōjō as Tomme.
A story that starts from the depths
The anime premiered on July 6 in Japan through CBC, TBS and 26 other networks. The anime platform began broadcasting it that same day in regions such as Europe, America, Africa, Middle East, Oceania, Indian subcontinent and the CIS (except Russia and Belarus). Also available is a english dubbing.
During the event Anime Expo The first two episodes were screened, with the presence of the creators Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andoin addition to the producer Naoki Amano.

The animation is in charge of the studio BONES under the direction of Fumihiko Suganuma (The First Slam Dunk). Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga) is in charge of the scripts, while Satoshi Ishino (Go Live) designs the characters and leads the animation direction. The soundtrack is composed by Taku Iwasaki (Bungo Stray Dogs).
Between garbage, monsters and redemption
The story follows Rudea young man who lives in the slums of a floating city. While the rich live in luxury and throw their waste into the abyss, the poor survive with what they can. One day, Rudo is falsely accused of murder and sentenced to be thrown with the garbage into the void. On the surface, where the waste of humanity dwells, deformed monsters lurk. If he wants to survive, discover the truth and take revenge, Rudo must master a new power and join the Cleanersa group that combats these fearsome creatures of the “Well”.
The manga was released in February 2022 in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from Kodansha. Hideyoshi Ando participates with graffiti designs, and the 15th volume of the manga was published on June 17.
