After the official announcement in April, the expected collaboration between the franchises Aikatsu! and Idol Time Pripara once again excites fans with the launch of his first full trailer for the movie Aikatsu! x Prepare THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!-.
The trailer shows the expected encounter between worlds and characters from both sagas, along with a sample of the original song “Happy Tuning”one of the new musical pieces that will be part of the feature film.
The big idol union arrives this fall
The film is scheduled for theatrical release in Japan on October 10, 2025as previously confirmed along with a new promotional visual. The film promises a colorful and nostalgic spectacle for fans of both franchises.
Both series have a long history within the idol genre: Aikatsu! It began broadcasting in September 2012, while Pripara debuted in July 2014. With multiple sequels, spin-offs and derivative products, they continue to be benchmarks of idol entertainment aimed at youth audiences.
A team full of experience in the idol universe
The direction of this cinematographic collaboration is in the hands of Takahiro Okawawho previously worked at Aikatsu Friends! and Aikatsu on Parade!. The script has been written by Michihiro Tsuchiyaunder the production of the studio Bandai Namco Pictures.
Besides, Ryuichi Kimura (director of Aikatsu!) and Makoto Moriwaki (director of Pripara) serve as project supervisors, guaranteeing fidelity to the spirit of both franchises.
The idol dream merges on the big screen
The story of Idol Time Pripara follow Yuia girl who dreams of becoming an idol despite feeling it is impossible. Their destiny changes when the theme park PriPara opens in your city and an idol called Laala arrives from Parajuku. Although a failure in the system prevents Laala from transforming, the idol world does not stop shining for the new generations.
Aikatsu! x Prepare THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- promises to be an unmissable event for fans of both series, full of music, nostalgia and unforgettable encounters.
