The Franchise 20th Anniversary Committee Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha announced this Tuesday July 9 a closing event titled “Lyrical Watch Party～RED&WHITE”which will be held at Live Cafe Mixa from Tokyo of the September 13 to 28.
During this event a special format will be screened “drama pictures”which will act as prologue for the new projects of the franchise: the anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance and the manga Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS. This video will feature illustrations accompanied by the voices of the cast actresseswhich will guide the narrative of this new stage.
A production with the seal of veterans
The new anime is part of the 20th anniversary celebrations, with the return of Masaki Tsuzuki as original story creator and screenwriter. The management will once again be in the hands of Takayuki Hamana (who worked in Nanoha Reflection and Nanoha Detonation) under the study Seven Arcs.
The character design is in charge of Issei Aragakialso known for his work in Extreme Hearts and Vladloveand also acts as chief animation director. For its part, Shuichi Kawakami collaborates with the original character designs for the project.
The EXCEEDS manga is now in publication
In addition to anime, manga Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS It began publication on April 16 through the service Suiyōbi no Sirius of Kodansha. Tsuzuki is once again in charge of the plot concept, while the art is provided by Shuichi Kawakamiwho has already participated in previous titles in the franchise, including the video game Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Innocent.
