We sincerely hope that this small gesture serves to support the inhabitants and contribute to recovery,” they expressed.
Message from the author, Kenta Ishizaka
“During my trip to Ishikawa Prefecture in December 2024I heard in an izakaya real conversations from local residents: 'We are going to demolish our house' or 'I hope I can rest next year.' I felt helpless, as if I couldn't do anything truly useful.”
“It was thanks to the local people that I was able to enjoy their gastronomy, their sake and their onsen. We discussed with the editorial team how to give something back for that experience, and we decided to make this donation. I hope it can help, even a little. I will definitely return to Noto to continue enjoying its warmth and sharing moments with its people.”
