Frieren will have collaboration with PUBG MOBILE


KRAFTON JAPAN has announced that “PUBG MOBILE“(available on iOS and Android) will launch a collaboration with anime”Sousou no Frieren – Beyond Journey's End” on April 1, 2025. The news, revealed this week, has fans of both universes excited, although specific details about the collaboration have yet to be revealed. The promotional image shows Frieren, the anime's protagonist, hugging a Level 3 Helmet, accompanied by the words “Frieren, towards the PUBG battlefield.”

As part of the promotion of this collaboration, a campaign is being held on X (formerly Twitter), where participants can win a 5,000 yen Amazon gift card.   • Sousou no Frieren” is a manga created by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abewhich began to be published in Weekly Shonen Sunday in April 2020. It has been adapted into an anime by madhouse. The manga has won several awards, including the New Creator Award at the 25th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Award in the same year. It was also nominated for the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021 and 2022.
  • The voice cast includes Atsumi Tanezaki like Frieren, Kana Ichinose Like Fern, Chiaki Kobayashi like Stark, Nobuhiko Okamoto like Himmel, Ikumi Hasegawa like Ubel, among others.
  • The production team in the studios madhouse includes Keiichirou Saitou in the direction, Tomohiro Suzuki as a screenwriter, Reiko Nagasawa as a character designer, and Evan Call as a composer.
  • The story follows Frieren, an elf mage who, after defeating the Demon King, begins to understand what human life means when her friends die over time. She embarks on a new journey to fulfill the wishes of her companions and learn about life.
