The long-awaited live-action adaptation of “Oshi no Ko“based on the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, has released its full trailer and official poster, in addition to revealing its final title as “Oshi no Ko -The Final Act-“. This project is a collaboration between Amazon and Toei, who will bring the complex story to the screen in both series and film formats.
The plot of “Oshi no Ko -The Final Act-” follows the emotional and twisted story of Ai and Gorou, and their relationship with Aqua in their quest for revenge. The trailer begins with a striking scene of Gorou accompanying Sarina in her final moments, establishing the dramatic tone of the story. Gorou, who is a devoted fan of Ai, is surprised when one day she, while pregnant, appears in his office as a patient. Shortly after, Gorou is the victim of a tragic event that leads him to be reincarnated as Aqua, Ai's son. From this point, the story becomes a complex tale of mystery and revenge.
In addition, it has been confirmed that the closing song of the film will be “SHINING SONG” by B Komachi, a fictional idol group within the world of Oshi no Ko, and a key piece in Ai's story. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on December 20, generating high expectations among fans of the original work and the actors who will play these iconic characters in this new and risky live-action version.

Synopsis of Oshi no Ko
16-year-old girl Ai Hoshino is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans. She is the personification of purity, but not all that glitters is gold… Gorou Honda is a gynecologist from a rural area and a big fan of Ai. So when the pregnant idol shows up at his hospital, he's beyond baffled. Gorou promises him a safe delivery, but little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his premature death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes, Gorou finds himself in the lap of his beloved idol and discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, Ai's newborn son!
