A year ago a meme became a trend in which the character Anya Forger of the franchise SPY x FAMILY was placed in other iconic panels from other mangas, such as Chainsaw Man either Jujutsu Kaisen. Now, with the premiere of the second season of the anime, The original panel has finally been adapted, so it’s safe to say that “the meme has evolved.”.
But where does the iconic panel where Anya Forger appears with an iconic pose come from? Contrary to what one would think, it is not the moment before an iconic fight, but rather comes from the chapter “Extra Mission 2“, where Yor and Loid have a date to “fix their relationship.” However, Yor had been on an assassination assignment the night before and had been shot in the butt, so the pain causes a series of hilarious misunderstandings.
But a date between the pair evidently wouldn’t include Anya Forger, who is left in the care of Franky Franklin. When they both leave, Anya stands in the mythical pose in front of the “little curls”, and suggests following them closely to spy on the development of their date.
This iconic panel from the manga was finally adapted in the first episode of the second season of SPY x FAMILY, so fans were finally able to edit one of the most acclaimed memes of this trend. This meme includes Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, who recently starred in trends both for his fate in the original manga and in the anime (where he has just been sealed and we will not be able to see him again for a long time).
