The “Avatar'' series depicts the battle between the indigenous Na'vi, who love the mysterious planet Pandora, and humanity, who aim to invade it. The Japanese trailer has been released, depicting the series' biggest “fiery battle” packed with spectacle and action, between the main character Jake Sully, a former Marine who “loves” Pandora, and Varan, who joins forces with humanity to “target” Pandora for revenge.
At the beginning of the released Japanese trailer, a portion of the epic and emotional story told in “Avatar'' and “Avatar: Way of Water'' is spelled out. In Avatar, Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington), a former Marine who infiltrates as the Avatar, falls in love with Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana), a Na'vi, and decides to start a family and fight against humanity. Then, in “Avatar: Way of Water'', he moves the battle to the sea and confronts humanity for the sake of the one he loves. He succeeds in repelling the invasion, but at the cost of losing his family's lives. In the latest work, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,'' Varan (played by Oona Chaplin) of the Ash tribe, who is also a Na'vi but is targeting Pandora, joins forces with humanity to attack, and an unprecedented “fiery battle'' begins. The video depicts Varan's mysterious appearance as he burns with revenge, saying, “When I was a child, flames came from the mountain and took everything away.My people sought salvation, but they were abandoned by the goddess of Pandora (Eywa).'' Quaritch (played by Stephen Lang), the tenacious “strongest mercenary'' who is also Jake's mortal enemy, offers Varan cooperation, saying, “If we are to fight Pandora, we need human power.'' The Ashe tribe, led by Varan, possesses the “power to manipulate fire,” and the humans, led by Quaritch, possess overwhelming military power. On the other hand, Jake and his friends also look fierce in the video, and Jake, determined to fight for his family, emphatically declares, “No matter what happens, this family is our fortress.'' “They destroy the oceans and destroy the forests. I will never forgive them.'' We want you to witness the most powerful and spectacular action in the series, where those who love Pandora and those who aim for it clash, and the “overwhelming shock'' that awaits.
In addition to the ultimate eye-catching 3D images and unprecedented shocking action scenes, this series depicts an emotional story that touches the hearts of viewers. At the end of the video, Jake and Neytiri's son Roak (played by Britten Dalton) looks to the “hope'' that awaits at the end of the fierce battle, saying, “The flames of hatred only leave behind the ashes of sadness…but no matter what happens, the light can be restored again.'' Director James Cameron states emphatically, “This is a story about a family confronting the meaning of war. It's one of the important themes of the film.''
This work depicts the most emotional story in the history of the series and a “fiery battle'' of epic proportions, centering on Jake and his friends who overcome the sadness of having their family's life taken away. We hope you will come and see the world created by James Cameron, who continues to fascinate people with original stories that go beyond universal themes and deliver them all over the world, while always pursuing and realizing the best movie experience possible.
What is the “Avatar” series?
2154 – Earth is on the verge of extinction, and humanity's last hope for survival is the mysterious planet Pandora.
In order to mine valuable mineral resources, humans develop bodies called avatars that combine Pandora's indigenous Na'vi and human DNA. Former Marine Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington), who lost both his legs and lost his will to live on the battlefield, becomes an Avatar in place of his deceased brother and contacts the Na'vi. Jake, who sympathizes with their way of life, falls in love with a Na'vi woman, Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana), and regains his will to live. Jake and Neytiri start a family and live peacefully with their children, including Kili (played by Sigourney Weaver) and Roak (played by Britten Dalton). However, when humans led by Quaritch (played by Stephen Lang) appear on Pandora, they are chased out of the sacred forest. Jake and his friends fight alongside the “sea tribes” they encounter and succeed in defeating humanity, albeit at a huge cost. However, the invasion by humans returns and the threat of the “Ash tribe” falls upon them…
