The official site for the anime adaptation of the light novel series Yūsha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita (There Was a Cute Girl at the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her), written by Suisei and illustrated by Woolrevealed that the premiere is scheduled for January 6. The release also debuted a new main visual and announced two additional cast members.

Production team
Yasutaka Yamamoto (Medalist, Servant × Service) serves as chief director, while Tomonori Mine (Isekai Onsen Paradise) directs the series in the studio Gekko. Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, No Guns Life) writes and supervises the scripts, and Mina Osawa (The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest, Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits) adapts La-na's character designs for animation. The music is provided by Satoru Kosaki (BEASTARS, The Apothecary Diaries) and the group MONACA. Ryō Aizawa serves as producer in Starry Cube.
About the light novel
Suisei launched the story on the portal Shōsetsuka ni Naro in 2013and its last update was June 12. Futabasha began publishing the work in printed format with illustrations by La-na in October 2014 and published its third volume in August 2015.
About the manga
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Kairibegan its serialization on the site Gaugau Monster of Futabasha in 2021. The twelfth compiled volume was published on July 30consolidating the success of the series before its jump to anime.
