It seems that the editorial Shueisha He got tired of piracy and is now taking series measures against some of the largest sites that “One Piece” and other sleeves illegally. The editorial has presented a judicial citation against Cloudflare this week, with the intention of obtaining information about the administrators of six pirate manga sites.
The biggest place in Shueisha's blacklist is “Chapmangano.to“, Which in December 2024 had more than 65.2 million visits. Other sites that are now in trouble include: “chapmanganelo.com”(24 million visits); “mangakakalot.com”(20.4 million); “M.Manganelo.com”(18.1 million); “mn2.mkklcdnv6temp.com”(23.4 thousand visits).
The editorial wants Cloudflare to give you all possible information about the administrators of these sites: addresses, telephone numbers, emails, billing data, IP addresses, basically their digital identity that helps them find them physically.

This is not the first time that these sites are in the sights. Shueisha and Viz Media have already tried something similar in 2022, looking for “manganelo” and “manganate” information through companies such as Paypal, Visa and Google. They discovered that these sites were connected with telecommunications companies in Vietnam, but could not access more details by legal restrictions. Only two weeks ago, Shueisha also presented another summons against Cloudflare with the intention of Tumbar 19 piracy sites that total 560 million visits per month.
While Shueisha continues to fight piracy in court, a new law is being prepared in the United States. The Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA) would allow to block foreign pirate sites so that US users lose immediate access to them. If approved, companies such as Google, Cloudflare and the main Internet suppliers will be obliged to block these pages in the United States, one of the largest markets.
Although Shueisha is putting pressure and laws could get stricter, piracy always finds ways to survive. Sites usually change dominance or move to countries with more relaxed laws, so we will have to see if these actions really stop the illegal distribution of sleeves. The only sure thing is that the war against piracy is still more alive than ever.
